Polar was brought in to help a B2B grocery distributor transition to a B2C model. The distributor was hit hard by COVID-19 as 100% of their clients were restaurants in the New York area. Polar stood up a B2C e-commerce site within 7 days of beginning the project. Polar’s services included Shopify implementation, theme customization, branding and design, setting up Social Media accounts and designing/running paid Facebook & IG ads targeting a specific market.

Polar was brought in to help a B2B grocery distributor transition to a B2C model. The distributor was hit hard by COVID-19 as 100% of their clients were restaurants in the New York area. Polar stood up a B2C e-commerce site within 7 days of beginning the project. Polar’s services included Shopify implementation, theme customization, branding and design, setting up Social Media accounts and designing/running paid Facebook & IG ads targeting a specific market. Polar also leveraged Shopify & Route4me APIs to build a custom delivery application hosted in AWS that would allow the distributor to organize orders based on an optimized delivery route. Polar implemented Klaviyo for e-mail marketing and provided all of the designs for marketing. The distributor was able to keep their doors open and has now added the B2C market as a permanent division of their business.
